Who are we and what do we do ?
About us:
Based in Sheffield and covering South Yorkshire, as well as nationwide due to new remote assessment availability, we specialise in working with children and young people in and out of the school environment and conduct our assessments and intervention with a Sensory Integration lens. We specialise in working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), pathological demand avoidance profiles (PDA), ADHD / ADD, sensory processing difficulties, motor skills difficulties, DCD/ dyspraxia, developmental delays, speech and language delays, social emotional and mental health difficulties and self regulation difficulties.
We offer services around Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Worksop, Doncaster and Chesterfield.
We deliver individualised and evidence based therapy that produces positive results and supports function in activities of daily living and life skills.

Our assessment packages start from £400 and therapy sessions from £80.

Where we work and who we work with:
At Olive tree OT we work with families, schools children and young people that may need extra support. We mainly work in the home or school environments.

Our clients come to us because their child may be finding school or social situations more difficult than they would expect or they may have challenges in certain motor skills such as tying shoes laces, swimming, riding a bike, eating with cutlery or handwriting. Some of our client's may have also been recently diagnosed with Autism or ADHD and they have been identified as having sensory processing challenges. They may also be undergoing an EHCP application or are looking for an EOTAs programme.

Many of our clients come to us because they don't know where to turn and are struggling with getting the right support, or they are awaiting assessment through statutory services which have high waiting times - at Olive Tree OT we have minimal waiting times and can offer assessment and therapy in a matter of weeks. Some of the families we work with are finding daily life really difficult, here at Olive Tree OT we can offer a supportive, confidential service that respects individual circumstances.

Where appropriate we can offer online consultations which not only supports the needs of some clients, it can save time searching for a local therapist and reduces travel time and cost.
